The emerging need for personalized medicine now requires biobanks to adapt their processes and to add more data to the biospecimen’s collected. Easy access to sample-associated data and a standardized way to record this data is paramount to a quality biobanking service as well as annotated patient clinical information is of extreme value for research.
- Understand the need for a software combining clinical data associated and corresponding biospecimen information
- Understand the importance of maximization of sample value
- Understand the importance of harmonization of data and sample collection across multiple collecting sites
